They have various locations within the United States, and I would like to contact them on your behalf to see if they can help you.  in response to Inspiration...   Well I've been paralyzed c 6 for 24 years,and live in a small town of Crosby,Mn. In October 2004 i hit a big pot hole in the road which caused my chair to stop immedient and i flew out of it which caused a compound fracture to left leg at the hip joint leaving the bone protruding a 1/2" out of skin,plus broke my right leg close to the same area as the left side.In the process of falling out of my chair my hood on my sweat shirt some how got hooked on my joy stick of my chair in which some how caused my chair to turn right for quite awhile dragging me along side of it choking me cause it was so tight around my neck it was hard to breath and as it was dragging me, sometimes rolling over my leg a few times ,plus lt literally caused most of my skin on my butt to scraped off down to the bone in some places and also caused my left elbow to break ,they took 8 nice sized bone chips out of the elbow so it pops out of the socket a lot.I had to have several skin grafts done to my butt,so now i get sores really easy if i don't tilt my chair back every 2 to 3 hours.Plus my left knee also was damaged bad enough that they had to amputate it above my knee.All that damage from a stupid pot hole in the road. As my pca's say I'm very accident prone yet I'm able to keep a good attitude on life.Now i need a specialty seat formed to my butt to prevent sores forming from my shower chair and my Medica and Medicare won't approve one since i have a specialty cushion for the chair i use daily,which was hard to get approved along with my specialty wheelchair that tilts for pressure relieve.That's why i have problems with transportation except to medical appointments.I did some research for other forms of transportation like the veterans bus as I served 4 year in the Army,the problem their is they drop you off on their way to the VA Hospital in St.Cloud,Mn and i would basically be stuck waiting for hours before the bus would get back to pick me up and bring me home.Which I'm unable to sit in my chair even in tilt position for that period of time with out causing damage to my skin which is real sensitive from all the skin grafts I've received over the years.Which is the reason I have not been any where except to my medical appointments since 2006 which after all these years it's finally taking a toll on me mentally not being able to go out any where except for a 4 block radius using my chair.Well thank you vey much for your time.Hope i didn't cause you to fall a sleep from reading such a long answer.;-) Wish you and your love one's the best....Thank you!
